GKon Fencing is a locally owned and operated fencing company proudly based in Didsbury, Alberta. Owned and operated by Grant, who was born and raised in the community and graduated from Didsbury High School in 2000, the company was founded in 2017 after Grant spent 20 years working in the oil field. Over the last 8 years, GKon Fencing has expanded to include farm fences, residential gates, and additional services such as tree and bush trimming, as well as deck painting and staining. Specializing in barbed wire, chain link, wood fencing, electric fencing, and custom residential builds, we deliver solutions that balance durability, function, and style. Growing up on Westlane Farms shaped our work ethic, and that same commitment carries through every project.
We understand that every property is different, and so are its fencing needs. That’s why we work closely with each customer to recommend the right materials, layout, and design for their goals—whether that’s securing livestock, enhancing a backyard, or protecting commercial equipment. Grant and the team are flexible with pricing, willing to travel, and always strive to provide solutions that work for each property and budget. From the first conversation to final installation, we focus on precision, care, and long-term performance, building fences that stand up to Alberta’s demanding weather year after year.
